Nitrous solenoid
Here is the nitrous solenoid and the purge solenoid. That silver thing on the right is the nitrous filter. I have the purge vented out the wiper cowl area. |

Nitrous Express Shark Nozzle
This is the nozzle where the nitrous and the fuel mix. It is mounted on the intake bonnet and blows the nitrous/fuel mixture straight down into the throttle body. The jets are also put in here, to adjust how big of a shot you want to run. I am currently running a 75 shot, but am going to try the 100 shot soon.

Nitrous Express Fully Automatic Bottle Heater
Here is what the bottle looks like now that the install is finished and the heater installed. The bottle heater is used to warm the bottle to keep the pressure from 900-1050 PSI. Bottle pressure with nitrous is very crucial to the performance of the system... Too low pressure, the engine will run rich and not develop much power; too much pressure, and you can shoot too much nitrous and run lean. |

Here's the finished product
With the install finished, this is what you'll see when you pop the hood. I tried to make it a clean, fully functional and easy to maintain installation. It did take a few days of work, but I'm very happy with it. I first tested the system with the 35HP shot, then the 50 shot, now I'm running the 75 shot. As soon as I get a good weekend without rain to take it to the strip, I'll post my results. Right now I'm running 9.7's in the 1/8, and am pretty positive that the nitrous will get me to the upper 8's. When I get rid of my stock exhaust setup (right now I'm running a Flowmaster, but with the stock pipes, cat, y-pipe, and manifolds), I'm shooting for lower 8's with the 100 shot. Check back, I'll keep you updated... |
